Unclanker.me is owned and operated by BoomWow Media, a sole proprietorship based in the Southern United States. The name, design, and underlying software are BoomWow Media’s property. Copying, scraping, or reproducing this site or its content for a competing product isn’t permitted.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit content. By using Unclanker.me, you’re confirming you meet that requirement.
Content you submit stays yours. By submitting it, you’re confirming you have the right to share it, and you’re giving BoomWow Media a limited license to view, mark up, store, and process it solely to provide this service. That license ends when your content is deleted, except for backups that clear on their normal schedule.
We never use your submitted content to publicly showcase your work unless you specifically opt in when submitting, and a reviewer separately approves it. Opting in is always optional.
Don’t submit anything proprietary or sensitive. A real person reviews everything you send us, the same as if you’d emailed it directly.
The Clanker Ranker (our free roast tool) doesn’t require an account and doesn’t send anything to our servers, whatever you upload there is processed entirely in your own browser and is never seen, stored, or transmitted by us. You’re still responsible for what you upload: only use a photo or image you have the right to share, and if it shows a real person other than you, make sure they’re okay with it being roasted and potentially shared. The age requirement above applies here too.
Submitted content is automatically screened by third-party moderation services (OpenAI for text, Sightengine for images) before it’s stored, solely to check for prohibited content as described below. We don’t use your submissions to train any AI model, ours or anyone else’s. Reviewers may separately use AI tools of their own as part of doing the review work, the same way any professional might use software to do their job — the review and final judgment are human.
Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, and other illegal content are strictly prohibited. Submissions are automatically screened before they’re stored, and any account submitting prohibited content will be banned and, where required by law, reported to the appropriate authorities.
Payment is handled by Stripe and is due before a submission enters the review queue. We don’t store your card details ourselves. We give a full refund in two situations: we failed to deliver anything at all (for example, a technical failure on our end kept your submission from being reviewed), or what we delivered isn’t what was described for the service you paid for. Outside of those two situations, for example if you simply don’t like the results, we don’t offer refunds once a human review has been delivered. If you think something we delivered was wrong, reach out and we’ll take a look.
A standard submission gets you a review and a fix prompt. Fixing an editable file directly, or a full project build, are separate paid services — see Submit and Start a project for details.
We give you a real human review and a well-written fix prompt. We don’t control, and can’t guarantee, how any particular AI tool interprets that prompt once you paste it in — different tools behave differently, and results can vary. Unclanker.me is provided as-is. To the extent allowed by law, BoomWow Media isn’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this service.
We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, including submitting prohibited content, attempting to abuse the service, or repeated non-payment. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
